Sound Blaster Z Mic Not Working On Windows 10
Microphone doesn't work when plugged into the microphone port of my Sound Blaster Z.Sound Blaster control panel detects if the microphone is not plugged in, so it's definitely in the right port.I've tried resetting everything to default in Sound Blaster control panel, doesn't help.It's the default microphone in windows recording devices.Disabling on-board sound in device manager doesn't help.The microphone works fine if you plug it into microphone port of motherboard, but sounds crap (according to people on Teamspeak) so it's not an issue with the microphone.Any ideas?
Jan 28, 2014 Front Panel Mic not working with Sound Blaster Z. Hello everyone, today I got my new Soundcard, a Soundblaster Zx and I must say that I really love the quality. Sound is working. My case has a connector labeled with 'HD-Audio' wich i plugged in into my soundcard. The little microphone that comes with the Creative Soundblaster Z is. I know SB claims very low latency, the problem whenever someone ask. Soundblaster Zx Mic not working as described. Have you enable beam-forming in mic properties? Go to sound control panel, select recording devices, then highlight your soundblaster and right.
