You can indicate that CFS3 worked normally with previous versions of Windows.There are other 'TWEAKS' that are available. CFS3 worked well with Microsoft XP which is no longer supported by Microsoft. Have had cfs3,eto, Mediterranean Air war and over Flanders fields working in windows 10, but recently they stopped working. if you ran cfs3config or the game exe it just crashes with the really helpful 'it has stopped working' message.

I stumbled intothe fix by accident but it does work. For some reason after a security update, Microsoft have blocked the exe from working from within program files (x86) ( I can't speak for 32 bit machines) No matter what compatibility settings you use it crashes.The fix: copy the whole cfs3 directories to the root directory. So that I now have c:Microsoft gamescfs 3 etc.
You still need to run it in compatibility mode, but it will work with no problems. For CFS3 ETO and Over Flanders Fields, thereis a little more work to do, to change the paths in the bat files and in the registry, but its pretty easy to find them. Then for now at least the game is working again.
Why Microsoft want to make it so difficult to run their own game I will never know!!!!No doubt they will block this route next but it will be as successful as their lame attempt to block classic shell in windows 10. Long live freedom of choice!

Unfortunately I can not discuss this here. I suggest you visit one of the CFS3 websites to research any problem you may have. I am sorry that I cannot be more helpful.
