Fallout 4 Add Caps
The simplest way to take photos is to pause the game with the console as soon as you see something you'd want a picture of.Pressing opens the console, obviously. The action is paused now. If you want, you can just take a screenshot with the console open, but that's dumb. TmToggle Menu will make the menu disappear, including the UI.
You have to enter it again to make them come back. But that's not good enough. TfcToggle Free Camera will put you into a free camera mode controlled with WASD and the mouse. You can angle it anywhere you want and clip through objects to get a good shot.
Fallout 4 All Console Commands
If you're in third person when you use TFC, you will be able to see your character. In first person, they are still the camera and thus cannot be seen. But this unpauses the action, because it can't be done with the console open.
Tfc 1Toggle Free Camera 1 also pauses all animations. I'm not sure what the difference is between it and TGP as I have not used it before. Sucsm Set UFO Cam Speed Multiplier changes the free camera movement speed. Replace with a number. 20 is the default. TgpToggle Game Pause pause the action completely.
Using TFC and TGP at the same time can be a bit buggy (activating one cancels out the other, sometimes) so always use them at the same time. Open the console, type in tfc, type in tgp, then close the console.
Don't exit it in-between or you'll miss the critical moment you were trying to get a picture of, because TGP won't activate properly. TimToggle Immortality Mode will allow you to take damage but not die. Unlike god mode, you can still use healing items while in immortality mode, so you can get action shots including those of you healing, if you want. Otherwise, in-battle action shots should be done with TGM, because TIM can result in some permanent glitches if you use it while dying and then save. TclToggle Clipping lets you move around the game's 3D space without restriction. You can go up, down, through things, etc.
Use this to get on roofs or hard to reach place or unique places to take fancy screenshots. Cl offCharacter Light Off and Character Light On turn off/on a feature that makes characters glow with a fake lighting effect to keep them visible even in dark situations. Things tend to look nicer with it off. CsbClear Screen Blood removes blood spatters from the screen. UnequipallClicking on an NPC while in the console and using Unequip All removes their clothes.
Fallout 4 Caps Cheat
Player.placeatme Place At Me, along with the baseid of an NPC (google it to find it), will place that NPC at your location. Not recommended to save after using if you spawn an NPC that isn't an enemy or a companion. Use this to get companions to follow you instantly to hard to reach places or to invite major storyline NPCs to hang out at your house. Or spawn tons of deathclaws.
TaiToggle AI stops NPCs from having AI. TcToggle Control will let you take control of an NPC.
You still have control over yourself, though. Use this to get action shots of NPCs. Particularly useful to get shots of your character and an NPC both running, or to get an NPC to use a piece of equipment.
ShowlooksmenuShow Looks Menu opens the in-game character creation. Use it while selecting an NPC or put their ID after the command. Be sure you're looking right at them in good lighting or you won't be able to see their face to edit it! Change hair, facial structure, facial hair, anything you want, even weight/muscles.
SetscaleSet the Scale of an item or NPC. I like using it to make NPCs different heights. My companion is about 3 inches taller than I am. You can make enemies teeny tiny, or make characters teeny tiny, or make objects really big, whatever you want.
Giant power armor robot? You can do that. Some clipping issues. Objects are still just as small or large as they're supposed to be, they just look different.
